Lon D. Lawrenz, DDS
Dr. Lawrenz is one of the first dentists in Arizona to receive his Master's training in utilization of the i + Waterlase YSGG laser for both tooth and soft tissue dental treatment and cosmetic procedures. He has been laser qualified since 2001. This laser technology affords state of the art gentle dental care and healing often without the need for local anesthetics. Dr. Lawrenz is a fellow of the Biofilm Innovations Group headquartered in Bethesda, MD. The group has done extensive practical administration utilizing Exxcl Oral Blue in the treatment of all types of oral diseases with amazing success.
Chairside Dental Assistant
Having grown up in Memphis, TN, Dana received her dental assisting training at Memphis Area Vocational School graduating in December, 1983. Dana relocated to Arizona nine years ago and rejoined Dr. Lawrenz's staff one year ago after an absense of nearly two years. She excells in creating comfortable cosmetically pleasing temporary crowns while helping Dr. Lawrenz provide quality individual care of each of the patients encountered every day.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Denise grew up in Lake Bluff, a suburb of Chicago. In high school she volunteered at Downey Veterans Hospital where she discovered her passion for helping people. Following her graduation of SIU School of Technical Careers, Denise stayed in state to establish a career and to get married.
With the addition of their two children, Denise and her husband moved to the suburbs of Cincinnati to “escape” the Chicago winters. Having experienced not much difference in the weather and the loss of her husband’s job, the Stein family moved to the Valley of Sun.
Denise has been with Dr. Lawrenz for 17 years. She enjoys making a dental visit fun for children and
customizing care for the individual patient. In her spare time, she enjoys thrift shopping, sewing, fixing dolls, and running an E-Bay business.
Front Office Administrator
Born and raised in Tempe, Fran has been in dentistry since 1982 having been a chairside assistant in general dentistry as well as endodontic and oral surgical dentistry. Fran has transitioned to the front office administration and uses her bilingual capabilities to enhance patient comfort and understanding.
